Website Disclaimer
The information on this website is provided by Northern Beaches Tree Permit Services, part of Arbor Express, as general information only.
General information only
The content on this website describes Northern Beaches Council tree controls, exemptions, application pathways and arboricultural assessment in general terms. It is not a substitute for a professional assessment of a particular tree or property, and it is not legal or planning advice.
Council requirements can change
Council information on this website was checked against Northern Beaches Council sources at the time of publication. Council requirements, exemptions and forms can change without notice. Always confirm current requirements with Northern Beaches Council on 1300 434 434 or through its website before undertaking tree work.
No guarantee of outcome
An arborist report provides professional arboricultural evidence and recommendations. Northern Beaches Council makes the decision on applications that require its approval. Nothing on this website guarantees that a permit, exemption or development approval will be granted.
Case studies and reviews
Case studies describe the findings and recommendations of real reports for specific trees and properties. They do not show what any other tree will need. Reviews shown on this website are Google reviews for Arbor Express, the consulting arborist team behind Northern Beaches Tree Permit Services.
Safety
If a tree has failed or presents an immediate danger, keep people clear of the area. If anyone is trapped or injured, call 000. For storm assistance, call NSW SES on 132 500. Never stand beneath a damaged or unstable tree to take photographs.
